My name is Božica Petković, and I am the artist behind B Art.

I have been trying to find my true talent for a long time.

Then one day, I was deeply moved by a simple necklace made of semi-precious stones that I received as a gift. Its colors were so harmonious that I felt an immediate desire to create something similar myself. That moment opened the door to a world I still inhabit today.

At the beginning, I knew nothing about metals, techniques, or tools, but I knew that art was my calling. For years, I learned and developed my craft, first at the Open Atelier Lumezi with Lazer Rok Lumezi, and later at the Public Open University Zagreb with Davor Šuk.

Piece by piece, tool by tool, I built my workshop in a quiet corner of my own home. Under my hands, forms began to emerge, forms that carried meaning. I create jewelry from recycled silver, copper, and brass, often combined with wood, shells, or stones, with everything nature places in my path.

Since 2010, I have been handcrafting artistic jewelry. Each piece is created in silence, in a time measured not by the clock, but by attention and devotion. I shape every piece from the first idea to the final detail, always seeking balance between form, symbolism, and presence.

My work has been exhibited in more than 20 juried group exhibitions and seven solo exhibitions. Since 2020, I have been a member of ULUPUH, and what continues to inspire me most is the feeling that each piece finds the person to whom it will truly matter, not as an ornament, but as a quiet sign of what they carry within themselves.

I do not create fashion accessories, but jewelry for women who choose differently.

I would especially highlight the “Forest” collection, which for me represents breathing itself: silence, harmony, oxygen, and the necklace “Window to the World”, as a reminder that nothing is permanent, that change is not a mistake, but a path. Its form and patina evolved unexpectedly and became more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. It taught me to live in the present, rather than in the past or the future.

Every piece I create carries something beyond the material itself: a moment, a feeling, a gaze.
