At the center of the composition lies a freshwater pearl, a symbol of purity and inner stillness, surrounded by dynamic lines of patinated silver and brass that create a fluid, almost painterly movement.
The metal elements recall brushstrokes, the way Vermeer builds light out of darkness. Each hammer strike leaves its trace, each surface illuminated by a reflection that reveals the life of the metal. Handcrafted, these earrings unite the strength of the material with poetic expression, as a tribute to the timeless woman whose presence shines even without words.

Note: The earrings were first presented at the Deconstruction of Style exhibition, ULUPUH, 2025. A custom-made version of this design can be ordered with a slight, almost imperceptible variation, as each piece carries subtle differences in texture that confirm it is handcrafted.
